Josephine De Bono, President of Delyla:

Josephine has been working with alternative textiles for over 20 years. Born and raised in Montreal, she grew up around the fashion and textiles industry.
In the late 1980's, Josephine joined her father's business, a textiles manufacturing company called Quebectex. Quebectex was established as a pioneering manufacturer of surface-textured knits, specializing in jacquard designs and providing North American markets with Egyptian cotton products.
Inspired by her natural surroundings as well as by the fabrics she grew up with, Josephine soon began promoting hemp, one of the most efficient fibres available, as an environmentally-friendly material for textile production.
In 2002, Josephine formed Delyla as an independent company. Set on manufacturing custom knits in organic cotton, bamboo-viscose, hemp and recycled polyester, Delyla aims to provide quality fabric alternatives to outfit the needs of eco-minded fashion, accessory and/or interior designers.
